The official spokesman for the Al-Ahsa Municipality, Khalid bin Muhammad BuShel, explained that as part of the efforts made to maintain an environment free of pollution elements and protect residents from damage related to public health pests, by removing their sources and causes, the Municipality, represented by the Services Agency “Environmental Sanitation Administration,” identified and treated 466 sites. For water gatherings in all the cities and towns of Al-Ahsa after the rainy situation that the governorate witnessed during the past two weeks, explaining that work is continuing to implement scheduled programs to spray “environmentally friendly” pesticides for those water gatherings using biological and chemical methods. Bushel added: These efforts are an extension of the Municipality’s efforts to improve the urban landscape, in order to achieve the quality of life and humanization of cities programme.
