Today, Monday, December 30, the Secretary of Al-Ahsa, Engineer Issam bin Abdul Latif Al-Mulla, launched the (Public Transport Identity Design Competition for Buses) in collaboration with Saber Company. The competition aims to engage designers and enthusiasts in creating a new identity for the public transport project, its buses, and stations, based on their creative inclinations and innovative design passion. This is grounded in scientific principles that enable the unique identity of Al-Ahsa, revive its values, and activate its facilities and programs, thereby enhancing the quality of life and improving the urban landscape.
An electronic registration link has been designated for those wishing to participate in the competition, according to specific requirements that participants must adhere to: (the participant must be a student or a practitioner in related fields of competition, the competing team must consist of 2 to 5 participants, and the ability to attend in person on the competition launch day and at the award ceremony in Al-Ahsa). The competition will be divided into two tracks that reflect the creative direction and design philosophy of the public transport visual identity for buses in Al-Ahsa.
The competition will kick off on January 7, 2025, with the winners of the top three positions to be awarded cash prizes during February.
