The official spokesman for Al-Ahsa Municipality, Khaled bin Muhammad Boushal, stated that the municipality has completed 50% of its work on the project to develop and raise the efficiency of King Abdulaziz Road in Al-Omran City, and the project is expected to be completed by the end of the fourth quarter of the current year 2023.
Bushel said: The road is considered one of the most important vital roads as it connects the cities and towns of the metropolis and through it access to a number of tourist attractions such as Mount Al Qara, Al Mashgar Park and Al Ahsa National Park. It is also linked to Salwa Road to the south, Dammam City to the north and Al Uqair Road to the east.

The project includes the implementation of (asphalt works, construction of pedestrian sidewalks, traffic safety means, lighting, landscaping, and bicycle paths), pointing out that the project comes as an extension of the municipality’s ongoing efforts to achieve the goals of the Quality of Life and Humanization of Cities program in urban communities through Strengthening municipal services, especially urban roads, is one of the strategic goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030...
