The head of Salwa Municipality, affiliated with Al-Ahsa Municipality, Engineer Muhammad Al-Mulhim, explained that as part of the efforts to improve the urban landscape, in order to achieve the quality of life and humanization of cities programme, the municipality implemented its project to develop and improve (Salwa Square), where the steps of its development witnessed the addition of the Kingdom’s flag pole in the middle and surrounding it with the flags of the sisterly Gulf states. . Engineer Muhammad Al-Mulhim added: On the other hand, the municipality’s work continues to plant summer flower seedlings on roads and squares as part of its ongoing efforts to improve the environmental landscape, as 45,000 flower seedlings were planted, in addition to 1,500 seedlings (trees and shrubs), and this comes in support of the efforts of Al-Ahsa Municipality to contribute to Increasing vegetation cover, in order to achieve the central goals of the Saudi Green Initiative and its related commitments during the current year 2024.
