Al-Ahsa Municipality, in cooperation with the governorate police, removed 394 (slum camps, barns, hangars, and boxes), as part of its campaign, which it launched to remove slums 3 months ago. The secretariat explained that the removal work is being carried out according to a scheduled implementation plan and targets about 265 identified sites within the metropolitan cities, while the campaign aims to achieve the objectives that include (addressing visual distortion and improving the urban landscape, raising compliance rates and licenses, preserving the environment and public rights). The Secretariat stressed the necessity of adhering to the regulations and instructions in order to avoid applying the municipal penalties list in accordance with the schedule of violations issued by the ministerial decision.
