To enhance traffic safety on the roads, and to achieve the objectives of municipal services within the Quality of Life Program, Al-Ahsa Municipality, represented by the Projects Agency, has activated the "Speed ​​Limit Change Alert Site on Roads", where the activation took place at the first site at the northern entrance to Al-Ahsa (Dhahran Road) for those coming from Dammam. This feature aims to alert drivers of the speed limit change on the road (from 120 km/h to 100 km/h), and Al-Ahsa Municipality is considered one of the first municipalities to take the initiative to implement it. It is worth noting that the site designated by this feature on the road consists of a group of safety elements and ground traffic signs, including (prefabricated signs for the "new speed limit", a two-component cold red paint path).
