The official spokesman for Al-Ahsa Municipality, Khaled bin Muhammad Boushal, indicated that the municipality has strengthened its scheduled plans related to comprehensive follow-up and intensification of health oversight of public health and professional facilities, coinciding with the approaching Eid Al-Fitr, while tightening control over the most important activities that witness a significant demand from citizens and residents, “shaving salons.” “Women’s workshops, laundry shops, sweets shops, banquet preparation outlets and kitchens” and other activities to confirm the commitment of workers and those in charge of them to public health requirements, food safety and suitability, and the presence of a veterinary seal on carcasses, emphasizing the application of penalties against violators of municipal requirements in accordance with bylaws and regulations.
Bushell pointed out that the municipality will continue to implement public cleanliness and environmental sanitation plans, in addition to preparing parks, gardens, municipal squares and service facilities, as well as Al-Uqair Beach to receive its people and visitors, in light of the unlimited support and attention of our wise leadership - may God protect them - in order to enhance the entertainment aspect and strengthen the tourism sector. In the region, in addition to working to maintain lighting poles on main roads, intensifying afforestation programs, planting flower seedlings, spreading green areas, repainting the sidewalks of the main streets and entrances to the city, and preparing Eid prayer halls.

Salwa Municipality also completed its preparations for the Eid al-Fitr holiday by preparing the beach, as it was recently strengthened by (providing beach umbrellas with water to serve visitors, installing swimming pools with a spiral design characterized by privacy, supplying and installing triple lighting poles with a length of 1,500 meters, installing watchtowers for the beach in order to raise Efficiency of observers, adding fitness equipment to the beach park, maintaining umbrellas and installing internal lighting for each umbrella, maintaining children’s toys, football fields, and restrooms.
