As part of the efforts of the Ministry of Municipal, Rural Affairs and Housing to raise the quality of the sector’s services, increase the rate of customer satisfaction, and in response to the needs of the sacrificial season period 1445 AH, Al-Ahsa Municipality announced the reactivation of the service of issuing a sacrificial slaughter permit for private kitchens and restaurants to carry out slaughtering and skinning work during the days of Eid Al-Adha. .
The secretariat explained that this service allows owners of commercial establishments who have a commercial activity license (restaurant or kitchen) to issue a permit to slaughter sacrificial animals through the “Baladi” platform until the fifth of Dhu al-Hijjah, according to specific requirements, so that they can provide slaughtering and skinning services for sacrificial animals during the days of Eid al-Adha.
The Al-Ahsa Municipality confirmed that restaurant and kitchen owners wishing to apply for a service permit are required to adhere to specific requirements, which include (having a valid license for the activity, commitment to permanent cleanliness of the slaughter site, providing slaughtering and skinning equipment and usable water, commitment to organizing the slaughter process and preventing the accumulation of carcasses in The restaurant or kitchen, installing a prominent sign displaying the slaughter price, having health certificates for all workers, contracting with a qualified veterinarian to examine the sacrifices before and after slaughter, contracting with one of the companies approved by the secretariat to remove and remove waste from the slaughtering and skinning site.
