Al-Ahsa Municipality’s work continues on the project to develop and raise the efficiency of King Abdulaziz Road in Al-Omran City, with a completion rate of 62%, and it is expected to be completed by the end of the fourth quarter of the current year 2023.
The project comes as an extension of the Municipality’s ongoing efforts to achieve the goals of the Quality of Life and Humanization of Cities program in urban communities by enhancing municipal services, especially urban roads, which are one of the strategic goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030. The project includes the implementation of (asphalt works, construction of pedestrian sidewalks, traffic safety means, and lighting). , landscaping, bicycle paths).
King Abdulaziz Road in Al-Omran City is considered one of the most vital roads as it connects the cities and towns of the metropolis and through it one can reach a number of tourist attractions such as Mount Al-Qara, Al-Mashgar Park and Al-Ahsa National Park, in addition to its connection to Salwa Road to the south, the city of Dammam to the north and Al-Uqair Road to the east.
