Al-Ahsa Municipality, in coordination with the Ministry of Health and the Labor Housing Follow-up Committee, continues to implement its scheduled visits to follow up on the commitment to implementing the National Program for the Development of Group Housing for Individuals, which includes Initiative No. 19 (organizing the medical fitness examination for workers and evaluating collective housing for workers in terms of health and environment), which aims to evaluate the medical fitness examination for workers and housing conditions. From both a health and environmental perspective, according to the specific standards, regulations and procedures related to this initiative
The municipality indicated that, within two weeks, the commitment of those in charge of 21 labor housing in the cities of (Hofuf, Mubarraz, and Al-Oyoun) was determined to conduct a medical fitness examination for workers and to evaluate the housing healthily and environmentally in accordance with the standards of the joint initiative between the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing and the Ministry of Health.
It is noteworthy that the National Program for the Development of Group Housing for Individuals includes 10 government agencies, headed by the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, and aims to improve the group housing system for individuals and provide a suitable residential environment for workers in the Kingdom in order to achieve the Quality of Life Program, one of the programs of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
