Coinciding with World Mental Health Day, under the slogan (Mental Health is a Universal Human Right), Al-Ahsa Municipality, in the presence of its Secretary Essam bin Abdul Latif Al-Mulla, yesterday, Tuesday, October 10, in cooperation with Al-Ahsa Health Council, held an educational symposium entitled “Mental Health in the Work Environment” by the psychologist Ali Al-Gharib, and the owner of The symposium included a number of advisory and introductory sections for the symposium participants and attendees.
The municipality explained that holding the symposium comes from the standpoint of activating the “Gap of Change” initiative, which aims to develop the workforce and enhance the mental health of employees by practicing sound healthy and behavioral patterns and staying away from mental health threats in a stimulating and supportive environment, in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 and the interest it contains. By developing human resources to increase their efficiency and productivity at work, to achieve a vibrant, optimistic society whose members feel happy.
While the Supervisor of Change Management in the Hofuf Municipality, Marwa Al-Mansour, confirmed that Al-Ahsa Municipality’s implementation of educational seminars and mental health programs in the work environment represents a top priority and a necessity that will contribute to increasing productivity and the well-being of society as a whole, as the employee needs a leap to change his life and the lives of others around him.
